Requirements on Employment
To read and follow all policies and procedures of the staff handbook (to be read within two weeks of commencing employment). If you have any questions from reading this handbook please seek clarification from either the Director or General Manager. To read, have a clear understanding and work in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011 and the National Law Act 2010. Participate in the implementation of the National Quality Standards. Participate in the implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework. To read, have a clear understanding and comply with the Code of Ethics. To read and have a clear understanding of the centres philosophy statement. To read and have a clear understanding of the parent handbook. To read, have a clear understanding and comply with our food safety program. To read and have a clear understanding of your role should an emergency evacuation occur. To familiarise yourself with all emergency exits, attendance books, the position of first aid kits and fire extinguishers. To provide management with a current Victorian Working with Children check. To provide management with copies of relevant qualifications (management must sight original documents) To complete all necessary paperwork relating to your employment. |
