Staff Handbook

Requirements of Employment

To read, have a clear understanding of and perform all responsibilities within your job description.
To read and follow all policies and procedures of the staff handbook (to be read within two weeks of commencing employment). If you have any questions from reading this handbook please seek clarification from either the Managers, Director or Managing Director.
To read, understand and implement all AQTF standards, in particular,

• Standard 1 The RTO provides quality training and assessment across all of its
operations.

• Standard 2 The RTO adheres to principles of access and equity and maximises
outcomes for its clients.

• Standard 3 Management systems are responsive to the needs of clients, staff and
stakeholders, and the environment in which the RTO operates

To read, understand and follow quality assurance policies and procedures

To keep current and have a clear understanding and comply with the Children's Services Regulations 1998. There is a copy at reception (this copy must stay on the premises).

To have a clear understanding of the principles of Accreditation.

To read, have a clear understanding and comply with the Code of Ethics.

To read and have a clear understanding of the centres philosophy statement.

To have a clear understanding of your role should an emergency evacuation occur.

To provide management with a current Victorian Police check.

To provide management with copies of relevant qualifications (management must sight original documents).

To complete all necessary paperwork relating to your employment.
