Staff HandbookInduction Process(procedure 3.4)On commencement of employment you will be allocated to work along side a trainer (Inductor). Management is responsible for inducting (or assigning someone to induct) a new staff member into their new position. The Inductor must accompany the Inductee throughout their work until Management decides that the new employee is ready to carry out the functions of the position on their own. The Inductor must complete the Induction Forms as per this manual during and at the conclusion of the induction process. When complete, both the Inductor and Inductee sign the bottom of the form to indicate that all items were completed satisfactorily. Mentor’s role A mentor (experienced trainer allocated by management) will be, where possible assigned to a new member of the training team. The mentor’s role is to train and role model as per One World’s policies and procedures.
