Individual Art Therapy

ART-THERAPY.JPGArt therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve a person's physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Art therapy can aid a child in achieving better self-awareness, relief from stress or anxiety, learning disorders, autism, and other traumatic experiences. Through art therapy, children receive support and guidance that is based on their existing strengths, weaknesses, interests, and concerns.

Our resident Art Therapist and Qualified Early Childhood Teacher is Melissa Underwood. Melissa will be facilitating art therapy sessions with children aged 7 and over on Wednesday's, Friday's and Saturdays. Children under 7 years can access the program if they are self managed or plan managed.

Individual art therapy sessions can range in duration from 1 hour to 2 hours. Click here to see the fee schedule.

Participation in our art therapy sessions can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly to meet you and your child's individual needs. Regardless of your preferred frequency, we advise booking well in advance to secure your child's ongoing place.

Bookings can be made by phoning us on 5272 3009 or sending us an email to or alternatively complete this booking form.
