BRIDGING from CHC50908 to CHC50113
Why do qualifications change?
Training Packages capture many of the skills required to address the workforce development challenges articulated by the Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council, (CS&HISC) Environmental Scans. However, as new roles along with advances in technology emerge, it is essential that the underpinning knowledge and skills be integrated into the relevant training package.
This is why qualifications under the Training Package model focus on both new and continuous improvement strategies to reflect industry requirements as well as comply with government policy.
BRIDGING from the Diploma of Children Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) - CHC50908 to the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care - CHC50113 sees many significant changes between the two qualifications. In particular the National Quality Framework has been embedded across all 28 units of the CHC50113 qualification.
Our bridging program is designed as an accelerated course to upgrade your existing qualification to the new CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care qualification from the CHC training package.
Applicant's currently working in the industry are able to update their qualification using a range of methods suitable to each individual situation. There may be credit transfer, gap training and/or recognition of prior learning (RPL) strategies used together to demonstrate your competence in the most simple way.
OWfC is in its final stages of developing this online bridging course, and is now taking expressions of interest for any interested participants.
